I thought it maybe useful to actually showing more

I thought it maybe useful to actually showing more of my work on here , I do share on my stories but rarely on my grid so here goes.

One thing I’m determined to do more of this year too is writing on my blog. From Design tips to my design projects.

Designing is a huge thoughtful and creative process, a journey that takes time. Here is an initial concept idea for a client. As a designer I will always try and bring ideas to the table that my clients would not think of themselves.

Starting with a brief then coming up with a concept to then collaborating with my clients til we have a finished design. There’s so much that goes into it - it really is a lot of work and a great responsibility.

I also will be updating my website very soon with a more detailed explanation of my remote design service. It really is the ideal for some people!

Hey, no new big announcements over here just thoug

Hey, no new big announcements over here just thought I’d pop on and say hi. Just like many of us I’m just adjusting to working and home schooling our children so for anybody who needs to hear it right now, you’re doing your best and that’s good enough. I think we can all fall into this thing of comparing our selves to others so give yourself a break if you only got 30mins of home schooling done today because your kid lost interest. I’m not a teacher, this is not their school. If you look a bag of poo because you haven’t had an hour to yourself, Its ok, if you’re ok with it. I looked at myself today and was Jeez Man but then I just said ‘oh so what’, I’m ok about it. Today it doesn’t matter to me , today I’m putting comfys on and doing the best I can. Life is hard at the min but it will get better, that I’m sure of. Sending happy vibes to you all my insta buds - each and everyone of you. Nici xxx

Well what a month December is turning out to be fo

Well what a month December is turning out to be for our household. All of it so far in isolation, Covid has struck us and hasn’t been very kind at all. Spent the night in A&E as felt so poorly but all obvs/bloods ok - just Covid being a bit of a bitch! Anyway, really preying for our house to be able to look forward to Christmas and for this Covid Shit show to be over!

On a happier note I’m so glad I put up our decs when I did - took this one a couple of weeks ago and was saving it for today!

CHRISTMAS TREE REVEAL the Christmas season has off

CHRISTMAS TREE REVEAL the Christmas season has officially begun! This year I have chosen our faux snow tree which is only small in comparison to others but is perfect for our little snug living room. I have purposely not over indulged on the decoration, just some warm lights and some of my fav decorations is all I wanted as I like to be able to see the tree itself. Thank you for all the love for my branch advent- the children are really enjoying and even more whilst we are currently in isolation.

Little revamping project from yesterday. I want all white candles sticks for my centre piece this year so I’ve painted my candelabra which was chrome, and 2 others all in white from @makeitrustoleum chalk paint - super pleased with the result. The tree is going up very soon 🙂

So pleased I completed our Advent Calendar for the kids in time - if you haven’t heard we have COVID in our household and so self isolation has begun. Everyone ok as much as you can be and hoping for a speedy recovery and back to ‘normal’ as soon as possible.....what ever that is!
