Little revamping project from yesterday. I want all white candles sticks for my centre piece this year so I’ve painted my candelabra which was chrome, and 2 others all in white from @makeitrustoleum chalk paint - super pleased with the result. The tree is going up very soon 🙂

So pleased I completed our Advent Calendar for the kids in time - if you haven’t heard we have COVID in our household and so self isolation has begun. Everyone ok as much as you can be and hoping for a speedy recovery and back to ‘normal’ as soon as possible.....what ever that is!

BAKING SHEET STARS 🌟
So easy to do and unbleached baking sheets like I’ve used, are fully biodegradable. I’ve started to add them to our indoor/outdoor tree along with some natural pine cone decorations too (will do another vid on those another day) lots more to add but I’ve made a start!

What I love about these as I don’t think they look too Christmassy, just wintery so felt it was ok to start put these up now. Tree goes up when the Advent Calendars starts in our house.

Have you done any home made decs this year or plan too?

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS month
I turned 42 yesterday and the build up has made me think a lot about myself and my health. We should never take our health for granted whatever our age or gender and so I’m joining in with the #changeandcheck challenge and @victoriaemes to highlight the importance of checking your titties, tatties, bosoms, breasts, whatever you wanna call them Ladies and Gentleman! It can happen to anyone, be your own hero and self check today!

A subject close to my families heart with an Aunt who not only beat this bastard once is now having to beat it again!

It usually gets thrown over the table and styled on special occasion but I tried it a few weeks ago and it reminded me how transformative it is to this room. It feels softer, more inviting, special even so I’ve kept it and it does help in stopping the table becoming a dumping ground.
